KARACHI:
Bhutta Village located in Keamari Town is ridden with many issues of which the water shortage and low water pressure have become a major source of distress for the community. Some believe that a few residents have been bribing officials within the water board and are receiving ample water supply. This is affecting the water supply of those who cannot afford to participate in these illegal and unethical activities.
Families who are denied sufficient water pressure face many challenges in their daily routines. People are unable to fulfil domestic chores like cleaning and cooking. The lack of water is also affecting hygiene and sanitation and raising the risks of diseases. The residents of Bhutta Village urge the authorities to address the issue at their earliest. Officials involved in malpractices should be held accountable and must face consequences. Residents involved in water theft and bribery should also be punished.
