Need for justice

Need for justice

KARACHI:

Our society is plagued by many evils including sexual violence and abuse. Our sacred institutions have become hellish nightmares for innocent boys and girls. This unspeakable evil knows no boundaries, affecting boys in their early years and girls throughout their educational journey, leaving them traumatised and scarred. We look to our judiciary and law enforcement agencies to rise and deliver justice, but we are left disheartened as justice remains elusive, and the hopes invested in them seem futile.

We should not be passive observers of this heart-wrenching reality. Our emotions must ignite a passion for action, for we are the guardians of our society’s conscience. We cannot let the flames of outrage die down; instead, we must stoke them into an inferno of righteous indignation. Any sanctity should never shield evildoers. Let us remember that true faith advocates for justice and protection of the vulnerable. It is time for our intellectuals to embrace their moral duty and speak out against the atrocities committed in the name of religion. Let us call all those who are paid off by our tax money as servants of citizens but not officers born to rule us forcefully.

We must remind the guilty and their protectors that their days of tyranny are numbered. They might think they can evade the consequences of their actions, but we must not rest until they face the full force of the law. Let us prove that no one is above the law, regardless of their status or influence. It is time to restore faith in the pillars of justice and ensure that they serve the people with integrity and impartiality. Together, we can wipe away the tears of those suffering in silence and pave the way for a Pakistan where justice prevails.
