Lack of test centres

Lack of test centres

KARACHI:

The absence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) test centres in our district places an undue burden on aspiring students. They are forced to travel to lower districts to undertake the tests. This additional financial and logistical strain on students is highly concerning and deserves immediate attention.

The KPPSC plays a pivotal role in selecting candidates for various government positions. It serves as a gateway to employment opportunities for countless individuals who aspire to serve their country and contribute to its progress. However, the absence of centres in Chitral significantly disadvantages students and jeopardises their chances of success.

The expenses associated with travel, accommodation, and other costs are substantial and often unaffordable for many students and their families. The time and effort spent in travelling can be better utilised for preparation allowing students to perform better and improve outcomes. I urge the concerned authorities, particularly the KPPSC, to address this issue promptly and establish test centres in Chitral. By doing so, they will ensure equal access to opportunities for students in our district and alleviate the financial and logistical burden they currently face.
