Unworthy books

KARACHI:

Nowadays, publishing companies are making money by releasing books that aren’t worth reading. They should be responsible for finding good literature that can make a positive impact on society, but instead, they publish books without caring about their value or originality.

Some writers want to become famous quickly by copying others’ work and putting it into their own books. They don’t create anything new; they just gather a few facts and turn them into books. They pay publishing companies to print these books and, as a result, the quality of literature suffers greatly. On the other hand, real creative writers look at the world with deep introspection and come up with unique ideas. Sadly, they often get ignored because they don’t have enough money to pay publishing companies. Their books end up gathering dust on their shelves.

Books are meant to enrich people’s minds with fresh ideas and thoughts. Notable literary professionals need to ensure that publishing companies focus on promoting valuable literature, rather than just producing cheap books. Let’s support real writers, no matter their financial situation, and keep books as a source of inspiration for all generations.
