KARACHI:
Automated teller machines (ATM) across Mithi and Islamkot are usually out of order causing major problems for the people who need to withdraw money from their accounts urgently. Some have accused bank branch managers of closing machines. It causes great inconvenience to those living in towns and villages nearby who travel long distances to use the ATM service. The locals urge the relevant authorities to take note of the issue and direct bank executives to ensure that ATMs in both cities are always functional. Additionally, bank staff should cooperate with locals and assist them in their financial affairs.
