Dollar hike

Dollar hike

KARACHI:

The economic uncertainty caused by a rapid decline in foreign exchange reserves, dollar price hikes and hyperinflation have affected every aspect of the financial market and trade. A major problem caused by high levels of inflation and increasing dollar rates is the decline in the value of the Pakistani Rupee. Pakistani students studying abroad are currently faced with a financial crunch as they are struggling to pay their tuition fees in foreign currencies such as dollars, pounds, and euros.

Most students roughly estimate their educational expenses before they begin their degrees because of this they are now faced with serious challenges amid the worsening economic situation. Some have been forced to leave their education midway while others who wanted to seek higher education abroad will have to reconsider their choices. Perhaps, the Higher Education Commission should step in to assist these students and ease their burden.
