Artificial intelligence

KARACHI:

Within the last few years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has taken the world by storm. AI can be defined as a machine’s ability to perform a task much like humans can. AI presents a wide range of benefits for the world, and Pakistan can leverage this technology to drive growth and development. To maximise the benefits, Pakistan should prioritise sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, finance and banking, smart cities, e-commerce and retail, energy and power, manufacturing and industry, transportation and logistics, and government services.

By applying AI in healthcare, Pakistan can improve diagnostics, personalised treatment plans, and healthcare delivery. In agriculture, AI can optimise resource usage, enhance crop yields, and support sustainable farming practices. The education sector can benefit from AI-powered personalised learning experiences and adaptive assessments. AI can enhance financial services, enable smart city development, boost e-commerce, improve energy efficiency, streamline manufacturing processes, optimise transportation systems, and enhance government services. By focusing on these sectors, Pakistan can harness the potential of AI to drive economic growth, improve public services, and enhance the overall well-being of its citizens.
