KARACHI:
Traffic signals across Lahore do not function properly causing great inconvenience to commuters. Chaos and prolonged traffic jams have become a common phenomenon on the roads. Traffic signals at major intersections such as MM Alam Road, Ferozepur Road, and Mall Road are usually out-of-order and need to be fixed.
The problem has persisted for quite some time now, but the authorities have not taken any concrete steps to fix this issue. Often drivers do not abide by the traffic rules due to the absence of traffic signals and instead resort to rash driving causing accidents and fatalities. The relevant authorities must address the issue urgently by installing modern traffic signals and ensuring regular maintenance of signals for the safety of commuters on the roads of Lahore.
