KARACHI:
The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) recently extended the registration date for the Special Central Superior Services (CSS) examination. The exam aims to fill vacant seats that have not been filled by CSS exams in the last several years.
Most universities in Sindh announce results in the last week of March because of this many aspirants cannot appear for the MCQ-based preliminary test, which will be held on 14th March 2023. Considering that most parts of Sindh already lack job opportunities, the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) should prioritise fresh graduates for the exam and urge the FPSC to extend the last date of the exam till the first week of April.
This will allow hundreds of aspirants to undertake the exam and potentially secure a good job for themselves and serve the country. The relevant authorities should make some adjustments for Sindh’s graduates and ensure that their efforts do not go in vain. Otherwise, many aspirants will find themselves in limbo and be compelled to work in other unsuitable jobs.
