I am university student. This letter of mine is for students like me who cannot defend themselves when faced with difficulties. The incidents of kidnapping of children and women in Karachi have increased, according to media reports. Young women are trafficked and the organs of children are removed and sold at high prices. Under such terrifying circumstance, we need to learn to at least defend ourselves. I have recently joined a karate centre to learn self-defence. After two months of training now I can say that I am in a position to defend myself. I urge all young women and children to join any gym or club to learn self-defence techniques.
