KARACHI:
It is such a privilege for us that the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Department of International Relations (Abdul Haq Campus) — in collaboration with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Poland’s city of Olsztyn — has taken the initiative to hold First Pakistani-Polish International Scientific Conference with an aim to bring closer top professional and social sciences students of both countries. Pakistan and Poland enjoy deep-rooted bilateral engagement, with the two countries locked in economic ties, educational partnerships, and people to people contacts.
The conference — to be held in Karachi on December 6 and 7 — will provide international exposure to Pakistani students from the government sector who are otherwise neglected when it comes to participating in such international forums. This endeavor testifies our seriousness in seeking to strengthen political, cultural and economic ties with Poland. We expect the issue to be highlighted so as to earn government support in this regard.
