Incidents of sexual abuse, involving women and children, continue to occur in the country on a daily basis. According to a report, 108 children and 85 women were raped across the country in the month of July. Of these 108 children, 47 belonged to Punjab, 31 from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and 21 from Sindh. Similarly, among the woman who were subjected to sexual violence, 47 hailed from Punjab, 16 from Sindh, 11 from K-P, 10 from Islamabad and one from Balochistan. This shows that the menace of sexual abuse runs rampant across the country, warranting a concrete action from the government.
