Neglected Sindh

Letter September 22, 2022
Neglected Sindh

KARACHI:

Born free though, man is found everywhere in chains. These words by Rossueau go very apt in the geo-political system of Pakistan, particularly in case of Sindh. No doubt, the poor people of Sindh have long been in the quagmire of miseries. They are even deprived of the very basic necessities, let alone good education and sound health system. Local rulers have kept them in chains of tribal slavery so much so that they are not even allowed to caste vote out of their own free will. The criminal indifference of our rulers towards the plight of the masses is incomprehensible. Unemployment and poverty are rife, but the rulers seem to care a damn. I humbly request the Government of Sindh to come out of their deep slumber and pay attention to the miseries of their poor subject.
