Restore SPSC

Letter August 15, 2022
????

GHOTKI:

It has been a year and a half since the Sindh Public Commission has been closed. The aspirants of the commission have been raising their voice against this sheer injustice but nothing has been done by the Sindh government or other concerned officials to resolve the issue. Instead, the government has held the case into abeyance. As a consequence, aspirants are worried about their future, which has caused a considerable amount of distress among the youth.

Moreover, the age factor is also affecting the prospects of many aspirants because after 30 years of age, they are not eligible for many jobs, nor can they appear in examination. This is a big blow to many intelligent and hardworking individuals. Every year, universities are churning out thousands of fresh graduates who are entering the job market, and it is really difficult for senior aspirants to compete with them. This ordeal is indeed a disservice to the candidates who want to join the commission. The Sindh government needs to take prudent measures to deal with the issue and save the careers of many dedicated individuals and restore the SPSC at the earliest.
