KARACHI:
I’m an apolitical house-lady. But I strongly believe that Prime Minister Imran Khan has done a commendable job. He has served the country well, and in his capacity he has made strides. It is agreed that not much could be done on many of the issues, especially accountability, but he has made a mark in honest and selfless governance. He has called a spade a spade, and taken high moral ground. The Opposition’s march to dislodge him is self-motivated and not in national interest. I believe that Prime Minister Imran should propose it to the opposition to let him complete his tenure so that he could implement his manifesto, as promised. Then he can voluntarily take a backseat and let the opposition call the shots. This will make the difference clear before the nation.
