Forests play an important role in the development of a country. They are considered as natural resources but need to be thought of as a major part of the ecosystem we all survive in. According to environmental expert, forests should cover at least 25% of the total area of a country.
Unfortunately, only 4.5% of the total area in Pakistan is covered with forests. Deforestation is one of the major causes of this and mafias are relentlessly cutting down trees and destroying forests. The government needs to act fast and dismantle all those who are destroying the beautiful environment of the country.
