NCOC and the NADRA recently announced the introduction of ‘Pak Covid-19 Vaccination Pass App’. The app came in response to reports of people using fake Covid-19 vaccination certificates. It will help identify fake vaccination certificates immediately. Public places such as restaurants and hotels must ensure that they use the app to check people’s certificates and reduce the risk of people being exposed to unvaccinated people. The app also allows people to download their Covid-19 vaccination certificates, once issued by NADRA. Digital certificates will be more feasible as people will not have to worry about losing their certificates. I appreciate the initiative taken by the authorities to facilitate easy access to vaccination certificates. The app will play an important role at this crucial time when cases are resurging.
