Lockdown in Turbat

The Deputy Commissioner of Kech has announced an indefinite lockdown in Turbat considering the recent resurge in coronavirus cases. The decision was taken in order to contain the spread of the Delta variant. Strict legal action has been ordered against those not complying. A statement from the DC Office called on the public to refrain from leaving their homes unnecessarily, to adhere to SOPs as a matter of urgency, and to maintain social distancing. The statement also ordered owners of shops, hotels and restaurant to fully comply with the lockdown to prevent further spread of the epidemic, which poses a serious threat to the lives of citizens. The coronavirus has plagued the entire world and our city is no exception. To combat the virus, citizens of Turbat should comply with SOPs and support the administration in its efforts to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
