Drug addiction

Hazardous and toxic substances contain a high percentage of nicotine and other harmful chemicals, which are essentially poisonous to the body

KARACHI:

The menace of drug addiction is spreading like wildfire among the young generation. Young boys in Pakistan are increasingly indulging in harmful activities that deteriorate their health and destroy their mind. The situation points starkly to the ineptness of the concerned authorities, who have completely failed to curb this scourge from the society.

Hazardous and toxic substances contain a high percentage of nicotine and other harmful chemicals, which are essentially poisonous to the body. Constantly putting your body through such torture eventually leads to gruesome diseases such as hepatitis, stroke and cancer. Will the narcotics control authority take some punitive measures to overcome the rising addiction of drugs among the young generation so as to safeguard many precious lives from this social evil? Bold actions are yet to be seen.
