BALOCHISTAN:
In economic terms, the level of road infrastructure development is positively correlated with the GDP of a country. For any state, the development of road infrastructure is considered as a key prerequisite for economic and social development.
Before the 2018 local government elections, poor road infrastructure posed much hindrances for locals in many areas across Balochistan. Neglecting such a key aspect restricted the economic development and growth particularly in Buleda Zamuran, the most populated and least developed area in Tehsil Buleda, where the education system remains poor and basic health facilities are not available to the masses.
However, the post-election period has seen a dramatic change. The expansion and upgradation of road networks have started while various health and educational projects have been initiated with a proper vision and planning that have slowly led to an increase in the economic performance and development of the poor region. If all MPAs of the province strive for the betterment of the people of Balochistan, there will not be a single underprivileged and neglected zone left. If sincere work is put in, the province will soon prosper.
