Internet facility

Letter February 08, 2021
Internet facilities not only aid in personal growth by providing people with instant knowledge but can be used as a powerful tool for educating the youth

KARACHI:

While the government is busy developing 5G technology, many backward areas in Balochistan are devoid of internet services. The government of Balochistan needs to realise that in an age where technological innovation has taken precedence, progress and development is not possible without such facilities. Bal Nigwar is a sub-tehsil of Kech district where basic internet facilities are not available. People there believe that this is a huge obstacle that restricts them from moving forward. They claim that it is hard for them to keep up with everyday news from around the world while most of the time they are aloof of the happenings across the country.

Internet facilities not only aid in personal growth by providing people with instant knowledge but can be used as a powerful tool for educating the youth. A plethora of different educational video with visuals, found on the internet, can be included in the syllabus. It can help children learn faster and more efficiently. Therefore, I request the provincial government to provide the people of Balochistan with adequate technological and internet facilities so that they can grow and prosper like the rest of the nation.
