Role of education

Education creates good leaders who lead their country in the right direction. Education is indeed a change agent for a nation

KARACHI:

Education severs as the backbone for the development of any nation. Countries like Japan, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Russia are successful because they worked hard on putting a good educational system in place. Take the case of Japan. The country got destroyed in the World War II, but the one thing they focussed on was getting good teachers. And history bears testimony to the fact that within just years, Japan developed by leaps and bounds, with a result that today it is among the most developed countries of the world, and ranks as the third biggest economy of the world.

According to a famous quote, “If you want to destroy any nation, snatch education from it”. As a result, the people comprising the nation will fight with each other and destroy themselves. And there would be no need to use weapons to destroy them. The golden quote carries a great lesson for us as a nation. Education creates awareness among people and provides a good platform to the youth to not only prosper themselves but also contribute to the prosperity of the nation. It teaches the people the importance of peace, brotherhood, equality and justice.

Education creates good leaders who lead their country in the right direction. Education is indeed a change agent for a nation. Better education gives you a better nation. It has the power to transform a nation completely. It is a pity though that the successive governments in our country have failed to realise the importance of education.
