KARACHI:
The PTI government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been continuously working hard for the welfare and well-being of the people. They have not only been successful in controlling the spread of the deadly coronavirus but have also stood firm in continuously highlighting the atrocities being committed in Kashmir, all the while trying to boost a fragile economy.
However, what the government doesn’t realise is that by lashing out at the opposition parties they themselves are responsible for tainting their own image. In turn, the people have no choice but to believe that the government has deviated from path of progress and prosperity. The PTI government should understand that by indulging in useless bickering, which mostly overshadows anything good that is done, they are merely adding fuel to the fire. Instead, they should remain steadfast in trying to uplift the lamentable state of the country. Anything else should be considered as either a distraction or an obstacle. The government need not flaunt their success nor restrict others, instead they need to let their actions speak for themselves. This is where true confidence lies. Those who are quick to critique now, will soon jump on the PTI bandwagon once the country starts showing significant signs of progress.
While the government’s sincerity and commitment can clearly be witnessed, healing the country needs time and patience. Before blaming the current government, it is important for every citizen to introspect on whether they are playing their part in making this country great.
