What is the point of bringing up this issue when the country is facing so many other problems?
LAHORE: According to reports, the ruling party has decided that a new province may be created from southern Punjab, especially in areas which have a majority of Seraiki speakers. That this was decided in a meeting of the party’s senior leadership is a bit hard to understand given that the matter is a sensitive one and should have been debated first in parliament, where the PPP enjoys a majority in any case.
Also, one has to ask that at this point in time, what is the point of bringing up this issue when the country is facing so many other problems?
