It is high time that the cyber division of all countries work together to crack down on these offenders
WAH CANTT: As the world is under quarantine and people are resorting to the internet and online communities, it seems that the percentage of cybercrime has increased drastically. This is partly linked to the amount of people that are online and the increase number of devices being used. Cybercriminals are taking advantage of this pandemic and are spreading viruses thorough fake emails that claim to know the cure for Covid-19. By doing so these criminals are able to collect personal data and sensitive information including credit card numbers and bank account details.
It is high time that the cyber division of all countries work together to crack down on these offenders. It is an absolute disgrace to commit such crimes during these testing times. The concerned authorities need to look into the matter and be vigilant.
