The writer’s characterisations of the wars between Pakistan and India is deeply flawed.
BANGALORE: This is with reference to Ejaz Haider’s article of July 29 titled “India is the revisionist power”. One has to say that the writer’s characterisations of the wars between Pakistan and India is deeply flawed. To quote him on Kargil, he writes: “I will be the first to deduct marks from the Pakistani military on the Kargil operation.”
Mistake, blunder, or whatever one calls it, it was a real attempt to attack India, and it failed. It seems as if the writer is ‘airbrushing’ all the wars initiated by Pakistan and still claims that he is not advocating a war!
