Despite decisions by the government, citizens are taking the issue lightly
KARACHI: The novel coronavirus is rapidly spreading throughout the world and shows no signs of decelerating. Coronavirus cases in Pakistan are steadily increasing too. Despite decisions by the government, citizens are taking the issue lightly. Even after a lockdown has been imposed in Sindh, many people are not staying inside their houses. If this problem persists, we won’t be able to get rid of this outbreak soon. We should follow and respect our government’s order before the situation gets out of hand and people start dying by the dozen. We can assist our government to help relieve our country from this epidemic before there is the need for a nationwide lockdown.
Authorities are doing their job and now it is the responsibility of the people to follow the instructions and take preventive measures. The government has decided if the circumstances, due to the global emergency caused by coronavirus, become more complicated they’ll have to convert hotels into hospitals. As responsible citizens we should do our bit in these testing times.
