LAHORE: This is with reference to the massive loadshedding currently taking place in Punjab. Could the distribution companies at least have the decency of sparing hospitals and clinics from the punishing loadshedding schedule? These institutions provide essential medical services and should not be lumped together with residential or commercial premises, where if the light goes for a few hours, people’s lives are not jeopardised.
In this context, I would like to specifically mention the loadshedding that takes place every day at the Punjab Institute of Mental Health in Lahore.
