LAHORE: The legendary comedian Amanullah Khan is no more with us. After a prolonged illness, he left us all crying. He was no ordinary man but in fact he was an institution in himself. He will be remembered for his peculiar style, witty sense of humour, great observation about life and human behaviour, and above all his humbleness and down to earth attitude throughout his supreme career. He did the most difficult thing: he made us all laugh for many years. He was the one who made theatre popular and was a one-man show when it came to entertainment. He was and will always be called the king of comedy. Mr Amanullah Khan may your soul rest in peace.
