It is the first time that the entire PSL is being staged in Pakistan
KARACHI: The fifth session of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is around the corner and the enthusiasm of cricket fans seems to be building up. The PCB has announced that all 34 matches will be played across four venues in the country from February 20 to March 22.
The official anthem of the PSL named ‘Tayyar hain’ has also been released by the PCB. The song features renowned musicians like Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Asim Azhar and Haroon Rashid.
The supporters of the participating teams are thrilled to witness their favorite teams and players playing on their home soil. It is an enthralling experience to get to watch them in action.
It is the first time that the entire PSL is being staged in Pakistan. Previously, most of the matches of PSL 2019 were played in Dubai and Pakistani cricket fans witnessed only 8 matches in their home ground.
It is music to one’s ears to hear that the tournament will also feature 36 foreign stars, which is a great sign that the international players are optimistic to play in Pakistan and our nation is finally getting rid of the label of terrorism and fear.
