What one can say with certainty, though, is that killing has unfortunately become a part of our culture.
KARACHI: Sami Shah’s article “Murderous decisions” (July 21) contains some good satirical analysis. There are many hidden hands working in the country to create confusion and hatred in society. And one way to do this is to kill innocent people, especially in a country where catching those who do this is usually next to impossible.
Yes, the government is responsible and should bring all this murder and mayhem to a stop, catch those involved in it and punish them, but the question is will it, or can it, do this? What one can say with certainty, though, is that killing has unfortunately become a part of our culture and violence seems to be happening so much that most people have become accustomed to it.
