The only thing that can protect yourself from the other is you
ISLAMABAD: The world has always been an insecure place. Allah Almighty created the whole universe for a purpose and humans have been made superior to all kinds. Many classic writers have written truth in their words that it’s man who kills man and not the war or hostility. We see and hear lots of stories from all corners of the world and are made to believe that wars are created for some patriotic or national purpose; however it is the evil within us that doesn’t want the world to live in peace and therefore we kill loot and plunder anything and everything. No one is safe from the other’s wrath. The only thing that can protect yourself from the other is you. That is why it is important to develop physical and mental strength. Parents need to develop quality of being self-assured in their children so that they can contemplate the true meaning of life from a young age.
The need of the hour is to have an open mind, if we really want to see our society flourishing and to remove the ignorance that is the root cause of evil. First of all, Allah is the all knower but we also have to take a stand on what is right as “humans work hard but Allah gives success”. Even if we shall start fixing small complications, not only will there be fewer grins but we will genuinely see a much more peaceful and calm world with less hatred, war and killing. There are interminable ways to make every day amiable. We just need to understand how to be empathetic towards one another.
