Almost everyone thinks about when the idea of ‘Naya Pakistan’ will be brought to fruition
SHIKARPUR: Almost everyone thinks about when the idea of ‘Naya Pakistan’ will be brought to fruition. Everything seems to be deteriorating. Prices are high, the poor are becoming even poorer and rich people somehow, manage the costliness of things. Before the accession of Imran Khan, all of us expect that we will see a Naya Pakistan soon, and things will eventually get better.
It was utterly a misapprehension by the nation that one person could bring about such major changes. Such significant changes require time and effort and cannot be brought about by a few changes in economic policies. The mindset of the whole nation needs to change and it is only collectively that the face of the a nation changes.
Now the nation has enough to lambaste Imran Khan’s government, as he made many promises which are still unfulfilled. However, a leader always shows directions towards development, but no one can ever be the sole saviour of a nation.
A country starts developing when its people learn to struggle, to give sacrifice and learn to fight otherwise, it is nothing but a castle in the air provided that the nation presumes that Imran Khan alone will lead the country to a better future.
Zuflikar Ali Bhutto, who also was a great leader, once asked the people for sacrifice, to struggle and also to fight for the nation. It is clearly proven from the words of his speech that a nation commences progressing when the leader of that country is accompanied by the nation and the people.
There is no doubt that it takes a good time to develop a nation, two to three years are not enough to change the fortune of the two hundred and twenty million population.
When we support Imran Khan to bring about change in the country, only then a Naya Pakistan will come into being, but with the process of evolution not revolution.
