The government should provide latest equipment to doctors and make things better
ISLAMABAD: Government hospitals are in a bad condition where doctors don’t give proper attention to patients. Most hospitals are jam-packed with patients which the administration is not able to manage properly. Another serious issue is the use of fake medicines. In Pakistan, many people die because of these fake medicines. The government must establish institutions and set up special teams whose sole responsibility should be to check and apprehend all the people who are involved in the business of fake medicines. People need to stay healthy if they have to learn, earn and live a productive and satisfying life. The deplorable condition of government hospitals is not surprising to anyone. Affordable but reliable medical care remains a dream for the vast majority. The conditions of our cities are worse than ever and with the rise of artificial foods and harmful preservatives coupled with different types of pollutions, a lot more people are getting constantly sick. Seasonal illnesses affect a large number of people. Diseases have become common. Pharmaceutical companies earn millions of dollars, the least they can do is work with the government to build new hospitals with modern technology where the common man and come and seek medical assistance. If the present situation is allowed to persist. Pakistan may soon see a rise in the death rate.
The government should provide latest equipment to doctors and make things better. There is not a single government hospital which has pure water. Most patients drink unhealthy water and then fall sick again. My request to the Punjab government is to improve the working of all public-sector hospitals. It is time for change instead of looking at Pakistan with selfish eyes.
