We all ought to work for a corruption-free, honest and stronger Pakistan
KARACHI: The main question that teases almost every Pakistani: When will Pakistan be totally free from corruption? Corruption leads to economic, social and moral problems in any country and it is prevalent in many countries of the world. Corruption creates an uncontrollable situation and this is what can be seen in Pakistan at the moment. The major cause of our economic setback is corruption. Lagging behind other nations is definitely not an option. We need to stand united in spite of these kinds of issues. Corruption can occur in the form of cheating, fraud, nepotism and bribery. The corrupt suck the blood of the people of Pakistan. Defaming and degrading the nation is something very usual for them as they don’t care about the impact of creating a negative international image of the country. There are many causes of the prevalence of corruption. People can’t afford a morally healthy living which forces them to commit crimes. Some privileged hands are very strong in our society which enforce policies with the help of the government but I see no end to this issue as it is harming Pakistan slowly. Corruption is like a slow poison for Pakistan. Yet no proper measures are taken. Corrupt people thrive in a society without any fear of punishment because they are influential. The current situation indicates that a corruption-free Pakistan is a dream for many who think that the government will be providing precautionary measures to control the corruption problems of Pakistan. But all we can do is hope for the best and help revive Pakistan’s economic stability. We all ought to work for a corruption-free, honest and stronger Pakistan.
