Undoubtedly, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s plan-B is much worse than his last protest
KARACHI: Undoubtedly, Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s plan-B is much worse than his last protest. To put the pressure on the government, the Maulana seems to be making something out of nothing. He has shown another street power card by blocking major roads.
As a result people are having a lot of difficulties in commuting. Going to school or work has become a hassle. What about ambulances trying to reach hospital in case of an emergency?
Everything is stuck in a crowd of angry people, raging past the streets with banners wearing caps and shalwar qameez. What is Maulana Fazl trying to do?
Maulana is only playing bad politics. We have to accept the fact that this is not the better approach and he too needs to understand this as a ground reality. Nothing will be achieved by inflicting torture on people on the streets to the point of frustration and anger.
His plan-A almost failed and his second or third plan will shows no promise. This issue should be resolved through dialogue, not on the streets in an ill-mannered way.
