Urging the government to speed up the construction of Hub bypass
HUB LASBELA: Hub City is the industrial zone and economic hub of Balochistan yet the infrastructure of this industrial city is in a bad shape despite the fact that it is generating millions in revenue for the federal and provincial governments. Unfortunately, heavy traffic in the city is one of the worst issues which has miserably disturbed the citizens. Every other day news of traffic accidents and loss of lives are reported. A couple of months ago a young man, who was shot at during a robbery, lost his life because the ambulance that was carrying him was stuck in traffic. The city, with its narrow and dilapidated road network, is invariably patched with heavy traffic during the rush hours. The main RCD road leading through the main city provides a route to the traffic coming from all over Balochistan to Karachi and the opposite direction.
I appeal to the Balochistan government is to give due consideration to the issue, and speed up the process of construction of Hub bypass, that has been under construction for a long time, so that people can get rid of the menace of heavy traffic in the city.
