We need to stop thinking of ourselves as leaders of the Ummah and saviours of Muslims all over the world.
KARACHI: Feisal Naqvi’s article of July 12 “Kabhi apni shakal dekhi hai?” is a courageous piece of writing. We need to rid Pakistan of all foreigners insider it, especially those who are on Pakistani soil to engage in militancy or any other activity in the name of religion.
Apart from that, we also need to stop thinking of ourselves as leaders of the Ummah and saviours of Muslims all over the world. We should adopt a policy of neutralism and not interfere in the affairs of other countries. Tax revenue should be spent on health, education, housing, electricity, drinking water, and roads. Also, rail travel should be encouraged since it is a cheaper and reliable way for most Pakistanis to commute.
