Ordinarily, any government would have resigned because the provincial government has failed in protecting citizens.
LAHORE: Every day that the city of Karachi is closed, the economy loses billions. I cannot understand that with dozens of people being killed in so-called ‘target killings’, where is the government and the law-enforcement agencies? It seems as if the Sindh government is complacent and does not want to bring to book the culprits involved in the violence for its own vested interests.
Ordinarily, under such circumstances, any government would have resigned by now because the situation clearly points to a complete failure of the provincial government in protecting the lives of Karachi’s residents.
How can the Sindh government’s police and intelligence departments be so inept that they cannot catch those involved in the killings?
