Most people cannot afford to buy water.
KARKI: Karki is one of the oldest areas of Kech District, 70 kilometers away from the city of Turbat. Unfortunately its residents are in a serious trouble just because basic facilities like water are not provided. Without water it is difficult to live. This also causes health issues and malnutrition. Five years ago a water supply channel was made for the people of Karki but unfortunately people have not received a drop of water from it, since the work remains incomplete. It is the responsibility of the local government to complete the water supply scheme. Most people cannot afford to buy water. I demand of the government of Balochistan to expedite work on the incomplete water supply scheme.
