It is govt's responsibility to take immediate steps in prohibiting the cutting down of trees illegally
KECH: Trees absorb carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. It is because of this system of constant purification of the air that we are able to breathe. Or else there would be lack of oxygen in the air. Trees are an essential part of the environment and ecosystem.
The beauty of the world is simply incomplete without the presence of trees. Unfortunately, they are being chopped down at a rapid pace. The large-scale hewing of trees or burning of forests is releasing a greater quantity of carbon monoxide gas, adding to the rise in Greenhouse effect.
It is the government’s responsibility to take immediate steps in prohibiting the cutting down of trees illegally.
