Lack of development in Makran

Letter July 21, 2019
Makran Division in which Gwadar port is situated lacks basic necessities of life

AWARAN, BALOCHISTAN: The port of Gwadar will soon develop into an international port that will create jobs. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar do bring hopes of progress and development.

But the people of Makran Division in which Gwadar port is situated lacks basic necessities of life such as clean drinking water, good educational institutions and adequate healthcare facilities.

These facilities are important for the survival of human beings. In view of the importance of CPEC it is necessary to simultaneously develop Makran Division and provide residents of the region with basic facilities.
