If followed in letter and spirit, this could see the PCB making selections on merit basis.
LAHORE: The decision by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to ensure that all its affiliate national cricket boards of member countries are depoliticised and that their appointments are made on merit is a very good one. If followed in letter and spirit, this could see the Pakistan Cricket Board finally make team selections and official appointments on merit and not out of political favouritism and/or nepotism.
