Britain no longer great

We have seen how this rhetoric of disunity and hatred has played out in other societies

TORONTO, CANADA: There was once a time when Great Britain was actually great. It attracted the best of the professionals and was envy of the world. However, times have changed. As the Brexit process continues, the Conservative Party has lost its way like sheep in the wild. Their Prime Minister, Theresa May, failed to introduce a deal that would be accepted by the entire Parliament, and she finally had to resign from her position, so the new government may take over and keep affairs of the country going. Those who campaigned to leave the EU claimed to make the kingdom great again. All they managed to do was fail their populace, as time revealed that leaving the EU was not going to have the effect they had promised that it would. These were just empty slogans employed by far-right extremists aiming to divide the people and create mistrust and hatred. Their disastrous call might result in isolating Britain from continental Europe. This will result in difficulties for the British. No country can survive on its own, and given the state of the British economy, it direly needs the concessions it used to receive through the EU.

We have seen how this rhetoric of disunity and hatred has played out in other societies. It can even be deadly. The British people need to wake up and stop letting such people decide their future! They need to stop being influenced by those who manipulate information for their personal gains. The threat of far-right extremism is real and it has already established its roots in some parts of Europe. These extremists are now claiming to know what is best for Britain and its future generations. Those who still maintain a neutral stance need to vote out these extremists. If the British continue to wait like sitting ducks and do not speak up against such politicians, the country might be in dark times, and the people will have no one to blame but themselves for staying silent.
