Gradually as we are seeing the impact on our developmental growth
LAHORE: I recently came across a video from a news outlet regarding a study linking motor skills in children and technology. According to the study, young children are having difficulty holding pencils as their motor skills have not developed properly. This is because they would use tablets and computers, rather than tangible toys. Their hand and wrist muscles are not strong enough, nor have they learned to hold objects such as pencils and sticks during their play time. Gradually as we are seeing the impact on our developmental growth, we realise how the reckless use of technology is harming humans. Ironically enough, that bit of information was also accessed through technology. We should try to strike a balance between nature and technology.
