The latest trend is trying to open a bottle cap with one’s foot as one spins while kicking. Thousands of people have joined the bandwagon as they showcase their physical fitness and balancing abilities. Thousands more watch these videos and waste their time attempting to imitate these so-called ‘idols’. These trends will destroy human beings as people misuse their mental capabilities over meaningless and trivial things. We have started thriving over brief moments of fame as we aim to go ‘viral’ over the internet, irrespective of the content we post. The rewards we receive for our petty contributions are almost shameful when we see what civilisations before us were able to do without technology.
