TURBAT: One of the most famous and recognizable thing of the Balochi people is the Balochi doch or the traditional dress worn by women. It is part of the Baloch identity and stands as a hallmark of their culture. The Balochi doch is famous for its hand embroidered, intricate and beautiful designs. There are many types of doch, such as the Balochani Pajjar, and they are mostly worn by the affluent Baloch. Making a doch requires a lot of skill. The high quality work is a source of income for many Baloch women, and they spend their entire lives doing this. Most Baloch mothers are able to provide a better life and education to their children by earning through this highly priced craft, to the point that the doch is referred to as the builder of its people. The efforts behind this craft are truly admirable and we hope the doch retains its value in the future.
