Our officials should be aware of their responsibilities and should work together for long-term plans
ISLAMABAD: Our country is facing a difficult time. The people are looking up to their elected representatives in hopes they will lead them out of this mess, unscathed. However, for the past two weeks, politicians and parliamentarians are seen constantly attacking one another for their shortcomings and blaming one another for the country’s situation.
Instead of listening to and addressing the issues the people face, or introducing policies to uplift our country, our representatives are busy playing the blame game and pulling one another’s legs. The people have already suffered enough for the past 10 years and they were hoping that this blame game and constant bickering might end with this government, and efficient practices would be introduced. Unfortunately, we do not see this happening. Now is the time to reassure the people by answering their concerns. Our officials should be aware of their responsibilities and should work together for long-term plans rather than delaying development by constant arguments! Politicians should stop the blame game forthwith and strive for betterment of the masses. The common people have pinned great hopes on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
