Most of the content published is misleading content
KARACHI: The number of health-related content on YouTube is increasing by leaps and bounds. While some provide well-researched information, most publish misleading content. People follow such information and share such videos in their social circles as they deem them credible because they are on YouTube. They do not verify the credibility of the information nor of the people claiming to be fitness experts. Anyone can upload health-related videos and take content from the internet for it. Through this letter, I like to raise awareness about such channels. I hope people will do their due research and only follow such content as are certified by health and fitness practitioners. This is a good precaution. Health is a vital issue. It should not be trifled with.
