Bad state of affairs

With inflation and frequent bomb blasts

LAHORE: We are facing galloping inflation and frequent bomb blasts in which many precious lives have been lost. What the government is doing to control these evils? Robberies and other crimes continue. People feel frustrated at the prevailing state of affairs. Now the government is seeking a bailout package from the International Monetary Fund. The international lenders lend money on harsh conditions, so inflation will likely continue to rise. People’s purchasing power will be reduced so will demand for goods and services contract. This will reduce employment. There is no likelihood of the economy improving in the near future.
